New Harrisburg Ministry Launching
This Wednesday evening, September 19th, Dan and Rocky Rosario and Susan Betcke will launch a neighborhood ministry to boys and girls from Harrisburg who came to our VBS this summer. They welcome prayer supporters and volunteer sho can help. See Dan, Rocky or Susan if you have an interest in this ministry.
Next Church Family Night - November 14th
We have had great attendance at our first two Family Nights. The next Family Night is Wednesday, November 14th. Tammy Gearheart is planning the family activity time. Sue Blankenship is planning the meal. Dinner for Family Nights begins at 5:45p.m. The learning activity time begins around 6:30p.m., finishing at 7:30p.m.
The meal plan for next month will be barbecue chicken, red potatoes, carrots and dinner rolls. Sue Blankenship is asking for donations of 40 pounds of red potatoes, 4 gallons of carrots and eight-dozen dinner rolls. Please see Sue if you can donate food items or if you can provide a financial donation toward the cost of the chicken.
Trunk or Treat Outreach - October 31st
Last October, we had over 300 people attend our Trunk or Treat outreach. Our church has resolved to provide this community service again this year - an occult free alternative to the community Trick or Treating observance. Begin to plan now for this event.
Transformation Seminar - Coming Soon
A Transformation Seminar is built around the supernatural work of God's Spirit to bring "real growth and change" in our lives. A Transformation Seminar is a Sunday afternoon experience - whereby we invite people to a light lunch after the Celebration Service, then offer a compact, powerful encounter with life-changing truth from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the afternoon. We will make arrangements for childcare for a small fee for anyone who needs care for their kids during the event.
Our Transformation Seminars are built around the theme of freedom: (1)Free to Believe; (2)Free to Overcome; (3)Free to Grow; (4)Free to Serve. More details to come.
Workday Planned
A workday is planned for November 10th to do some clean-up work both inside and outside on our property. We encourage everyone who can help to come between 9 a.m. and 3p.m. There is work for everyone man, woman or child.
